What muscles are used in martial arts?

Though the muscles used most in martial arts depends on the form being used, most of the muscle groups are used to some degree. The most common muscles are the deltoids, abs, hamstring, pectorals, biceps, triceps, quadriceps, hips, gluteus maximus, and calf muscles.

 

Do martial artists live longer?

Despite appearances, there isn't any real correlation between specific martial arts and longevity. It is a matter of training correctly and finding the right discipline and balance to practice.

 

Can you start martial arts at early age?

Children can be involved in martial arts at an extremely early age, if you want your child to train we can accommadate from 7 upwards.

 

Can I learn martial arts 40+?

Starting is not a matter of age or fitness level, but of commitment and motivation. By the nature of it's practice, it is entirely possible to start practicing martial arts at any age.

 

Can you do martial arts with a disability?

You definitley can do martial arts with a disability. If you have the desire to learn you are already on the way to succeeding.
